ABOVE AND BEYOND ERRORS AND DIFFICULTIES…

The ideology of the petit bourgeoisie, which drenches this society, does not know loyalty; on the contrary, opportunism, the easy profit, that behaviour of dithering flock, is its Cain mark. That is why it is impossible that it would drive the Revolutionary process to a good end.

With the first row it changes teams, it is changeable and vulnerable, and it is incapable to take long-term actions, any step on the way frightens it, and any doubt makes it give up.

With that backdrop we have to analyze the Joaquin Becerra’s episode. Without a doubt it was a mistake, and we will not go into a great detail about it, a lot of people already has written and stated about it, that event is well known. We will just study the causes of his flaws, its meaning and evolution.

First of all we have to reassert our faith in Commander Chavez, above and beyond the natural errors; he is the leader of this Revolution. The risk of errors is inherent to Revolutionary action; if someone knows a leader that has not made mistakes and he/she has never mistaken, should cast the first stone. Not even the Pope is infallible, from Marx to Bolivar, Che, Fidel, and Fabricio, all of them made mistakes through their history.

What is important is keeping the continuity in the fighting, and defeating the consequenceless swinging; there is the importance of discipline, confidence and loyalty towards the leader, and they let, beyond the flaws, to keep the coherence of strengths. Only discipline beats the petit bourgeoisie hesitation and gives strategic deepness to the fight.

Now, we should study the background of the `capture and return´ of Joaquin Becerra. The fact can only be understood if we see it from the fierce battle inside Revolution. Two visions of the world face up here: the restored reformism and the Revolutionary vision.

Reformism has become bolder, it moves forward on the ideological weaknesses of Revolution that hamper the clarity of the course. They develop their economic conciliation project, also the social and political project; they bring bourgeoisie to power and simultaneously attack hatefully any brushstroke of Revolution. They prefer to sit with a banker than with a Revolutionary.

Revolution will only succeed and it will only be possible with the defeat of the restorer reformism.

There is only one solution to the internal confrontation: to deepen into Revolutionary actions and to fight harshly against the theoretical loss. The nodding towards the Right has an origin, mainly, in the weakness of the Revolutionary praxis.

The principal cause for the loss, which we regret today and the main pillar that we have to correct is the theoretical weakness. While we are on the subject, it is necessary understand this field that has been sabotage internally. Chavez has called plenty of attempts, from the “moral and enlightenment motive” until the “ideological congress”; all had been sabotage with a damper.

It is important to recall the utmost of the classical authors: “Without a Revolutionary theory there will not be Revolutionary practice”.

THE WORKING CLASS TAKES THE CHALLENGE

One of the main challenges of the Bolivarian Revolution is the construction of houses; society suffers from a housing shortage. This challenge is to pay off the huge social debt in this field; it is a unique opportunity to demonstrate the strength and efficiency of Socialism.

The ways that Revolution has to face the housing construction are two: the first one in to call Capitalists and let them do the work. Then award them, and after that material achievement try to create awareness. In other words: building houses and then Socialism.

The other way is transforming the construction process into a school of Socialism. Building houses, and simultaneously elevates the consciousness. In other words, we have to solve the problem educating people, forming Socialism and new men.

Theses houses built that way will have an organic relation with their workers, a loving relation, they would be a symbol of men’s reunion with the result product of their work, they will have a bigger spiritual value than monetary, and they would be a great step towards a new society and a knock to the capitalist relation.

It is very clear that habits and the domination installed in the psyche conspire against the way of solving the challenge: it is easier derive it from private companies. The little ominous voices are heard, they say “this way it is not possible and people will not respond, the only way is with private companies, we do not want to take risks”.

It is possible to face up the challenge with a great popular mobilization, so society moves. Society has to live in, for and inside the Housing Mission; so the housing construction would be everybody’s problem: a supportive society putting energy to solve the difficulties of their children, and solving them though education.

We already have examples and Revolution can exhibit them, they are real, practical and possible: the oil workers, who are encouraged by PDVSA’s action of socializing the piers of the Oriental Coast of Lake Maracaibo; started months ago journeys of volunteer work that gave extraordinary results. It is amazing the number of floating units that had been got back; and more important that this encourages the consciousness level of Social Duty that they have reached, of internationalism and political location. The support to Chavez and Revolution is more solid and conscious.

Nowadays, thanks to that volunteer work, there are two emblematic ships sailing in waters of Lake Maracaibo: “El Granma” and “Cinco Heroes”; in those waters where used to sail “pilín” now the proletarian internationalism does it.

These workmen already started the construction of houses with volunteer work. It is an experience, a course that has to be consolidated and extended. It is suitable that the Housing Mission develops areas for the volunteer work construction, and those sanctuaries would be educational areas, and an example of material and spiritual efficiency of Socialism.

Working in those areas would be a honor and pride that will give motives for the moral encouragement, these areas would be territories for the formation of new men, houses must come up from there and contingents of Socialist groups.

CHALLENGES OF PROPERTY

Every social system is defined by the form of property of means of production. Every system after Socialism is supported by the non-social property. The form of property is important because around it is a specific culture that justifies it, reproduces it and perpetuates it. Then, culture and property constitute a set, a system.

The change in the form of property is a main matter for Revolution, it only does possible the new culture, spirituality and a Socialist conscious.

In Venezuela, a country with a renter economy and oil dependent, the great challenge to Revolution is: What to do with the oil income? How to transform it in a Socialist crowbar?

The income was used to stimulate a parasitic bourgeoisie, non-productive, mendicant population with a great dissociation between effort and success. Summarily, oil created a culture that corresponded to a country doped by the income, missed from work, spendthrift and facile. So, it facilitated and distracted the predation of nationwide wealth by “gringos”, who took it to despicable prices.

When the Bolivarian Revolution took control over oil, it used it primarily to solve the huge social debt, the materialistic and spiritual. Food programs and educational programs are an example. Like this, people perceived a loving government.

That first stage was necessary, but it rapidly bumped into the crucial question of any Revolution: How can we change relations of property of means of production, the supporters of culture? Or, when, we remember The Miserable, which frequently Chavez quotes: How to demolish the mill and the wind that moves it?

The answers emerge from ideological positions, it is a fight for the process domination, it is the principal scenery of the inevitable confrontation that every Revolution has, along with restoring reformism.

It is not the first time that restoring reformists propose create a neo-bourgeoisie with the income, and strengthen the traditional bourgeoisie by saying that they now will produce, and that they will have a human face to construct what they call “productive nation.”

They create ghosts and strangle the Socialist possibility justified during the emergencies. For example: they deprive the lack of houses and pretend to make it a mere technical problem. It is a trap to Socialism…Construct houses and simultaneously build bourgeoisie means a pretext to construct houses, smuggle the conditions to plunge humans into the spiritual and material misery which are Capitalism.

Those faces will cost expensive to this society; they are a way to transfer the income to bourgeoisie, that way it will gain resources and political benefit, we raise crows, they will cost us hope. Bourgeoisie will never solve a problem to Socialism.

The challenge is to create Socialist awareness and at the same time build houses so the humble understand that the working power is collective and in society, to reinforce the link effort-success and to rescue the value of voluntary work; that would be an invaluable step towards Socialism.

CHRISTIANITY AND SOCIALISM

When Commander Chavez says that Jesus Christ is the first Socialist of humanity, he is rescuing an historic truth, at the same time he is melting in just one spark, the Revolutionary’s humanism and Christian’s spirituality. He is unifying what disgrace had separated in order to stop humans find the path of redemption; so we can definitely expel merchants from the temple, or better said, we can expel Capitalist from economy.

The ideas of free human from the slavery of being sell or had to sell themselves, have accomplished humanity thought history. Always men had search the ways to get away from the situation where man is the man’s predator, or situations where life is a war of all against all. Primitive Christian communities, which were followers of raised Jesus, are a paradigm in that search. According to the Bible: “Among them there was not homeless because all those who own lands or houses sold them and took the money and put it next to the Apostle’s feet, and it was distributed to each according their needs.”

It is not hard to perceive the Socialist foundations in that way of living. It is only necessary little adjustments to do of these precepts, the bases of the society of XXI century Socialism.

The Bolivarian Revolution has laid theoretical basis for the union between Christians and Socialists. This union confers a new strength to the Revolutionary cause. Christ is a Socialist and we are Socialist and Christians. Now we recognize ourselves as brothers in the construction of the society that primitive Christians dreamt.

Today, there are conditions to give a material base to what two thousand years ago was a dream.

Let’s use this reflections as a tribute to the Holy Week, the week where is commemorated the fall of the first Socialist of history. Let’s make proper the occasion to remember the Socialist martyrs that following Christ steps, the search of the redemption of humans and the construction of a loving society, also fell crucified during the battle.

Let’s recall Bolívar, shirtless in San Pedro Alejandrino; Sucre in Berruecos; José Martí; Zamora; Che; Fabricio; Priest Camilo Torres; Bishop Romero and Rose Luxemburg.

Also, let’s remember above all, the unknown Revolutionary, the anonymous fighter that forged with his blood and effort this long story to the battle for love, live and Socialism.

THE KEY TO SUCCESS

Oligarchy faces elections like a marketing tournament. There are specialists on “positioning products”, and that is how candidates are considered. Shortly, they change their packages, clothing, and create a proper image that must contemplate family, and a sportive sensation, etc.

The primary elections’ auction of the “squalids” is a good opportunity to observe how this specialists act. We already see the pre-candidates wearing suits and colors for the occasion, their statements are studied. Some others wait that laboratories recommend them to run as candidates for the elections. More than a tournament between candidates, it is a competition between publicity agencies and specialists.

So, the oligarchs designed elections to hold people spellbound, to distract and dominate them. From those elections results a legitimate president and a country incapable to be dangerous to the system that oppresses it.

To our peaceful Revolution, the situation is different. According to historic reasons, there is a period of bourgeois elections, and that circumstance confers especial characteristics to the fight. Revolution must win oligarchy in its own field, and simultaneously must break its logic. That implies a mortal danger. Let’s see.

Revolution has to participate in the oligarchic elections, without being trapped, without taking people to a dissarment situation that they suppose, and to what they were designed. In other words, Revolution must cross the swamp without a stain, without drowning into that mecantilistic logic, without succumbing to the temptation of using jagged tools.

That is why it is important for Revolution to know the mechanisms and the laws of the bourgeois-oligarchic elections, its impact to society; only that way Revolution will detect the decoys that must be avoid.

First of all, it is not to succumb to the temptation of thinking that politics and the power dispute reduce the electoral contest, or that this battle is more important. That is a mistake. Oligarch elections work for bourgeoisie, with them it just makes a change of face, of names, it changes so everything keeps the same, to give continuity to Capitalism.

For a Revolution that expresses a change of system, elections are a little component for the big battle. The principal goal of Revolution is to win the mass’ heart, raise the Revolutionary awareness, organize it, and provide it with sacred reasons which to fight. In other words, the goal is to prepare it to the fight to the construction of Socialism in any field.

Being so, we have to win the elections, but with different methods that oligarchy traditionally uses. Elections must be won in such way, that while trying it, a new mass mentality forms, and a new consciousness builds. We have to conquer votes and form a Revolutionary conscious. That is the challenge.

To motive the social objectives, and to give solutions to the great problems of society, that is how we will understand the needs and the strength of working together, of Socialism. The construction of houses is the opportunity of consciousness and votes.

ELECTIONS, SURVEYS AND IMPERIAL AGGRESSION

While 2012 is getting near, a rain of surveys grow worse. They are the protagonists in every bourgeois election; the majority tries to make phony sensations of the electoral board. There are serious surveys and scientific, but those are a little scarce but useful.

Surveys are not spotless; they are strongly influenced by the kind of investigative elections and the interests of their participants. Let’s see.

The “oligarch-bourgeois”, who consider elections a marketing exercise and their candidates as merchandise, use surveys as a market exploration. So, their questions are destined to know the position of the “product”. The main research is the acceptation of the candidate and his relation with other products. Questions are subordinated: rejection, Why? Because the principal problem afflicts “buyers-electors”, and the perception of the candidate’s image. Those results model the campaign, the colors, slogans, family photos, etc.

The Revolutionary campaign which is carried out in the same terrain that bourgeois’ elections, must have an objective beyond winning the elections. To Revolution it is not enough the triumph, what is important is how to win them. The numerical results are fundamental as well as organizational results, training consciousness.

Revolution cannot be only maintained with one positive result in the bourgeois elections, it needs from the conscious mass to undertake and hold the Revolutionary changes. Any result is good for the bourgeoisie, while it is the marketing logic.

Revolutionary surveys must explore reality to find other aspects, other edges. For example, what is people’s motives, their goals, their vision of the world, the relations they establish, their problems and the solutions they give to them, the origin that attributes to them. Summarily, they must try to establish the spirituality of the mass, the triumph of the Revolutionary candidate and the fate of Revolution will depend on them.

Revolution is a process that faces two visions of the world. A few days ago a spokeswomen of copei vociferated that the measurements of the government benefited society, and not the individual. That lady, ignorant and hateful, was telling a great truth. Revolution is the recovery of the social sense and the overcoming of hate, individualism.

If selfishness moves forward, bourgeoisie and their candidates do it to. Now, if the social sense elevates, the mass will understand better what is decided during elections and will participate in them, the mass will vote without a doubt, for the candidate of Revolution. Revolution will be fortified against any bourgeois attack, wherever it is.

That is how Revolution is defined. We already know that the bourgeoisie legality is only respected when it is convenient for them, when the unfavorable elections charge against the Revolutionary governments that emerge from them. There are plenty examples: Allende, April, Honduras and Libya to tell us that the path to Revolution transcends the bourgeoisie legality.

PROPERTY

Hardly, the concept of Property had been the more battered and irresponsibly treated. Distorted, deformed, hidden, covered, stained, and tangled, with it everything has happened. It is understandable that the concept of Property is at the core of the operating system as well as on the liberation support. When we refer about Property, and this is very important, we talk about the property of Means of Production and not about the property of assets. It is a deception to talk about Property without specifying which one.

The property of a motorcycle is not the same as the property of a bicycle or a shirt, those are assets; but the property of “Polar” is a mean of production, and in Capitalism it is a mean of exploitation of workingman.

A social system would be as its relation of property, let’s repeat, of means of production. Every social building has its foundation in that relation. But, why is that relation of property essential? How does it work in the characterization of the social system?

Relation of property needs and determines a conscious, spirituality, a culture that justifies it, perpetuates it and reproduces it. Relation and culture influence mutually. Conscious and relation of property form a group that supports the social system. Each social system belongs to a specific group of relation of property and conscious.

For example, a slave system maintains the workers slavery, and it was justified with culture and spirituality.

In accordance with the above dislodges that for a Revolution, the issue of Property of means of production is not trivial, it is not a slightly choice, on the contrary, it is the main focus in order to Revolutionary process move forward.

We tangled this topic postulating that monopoly is bad, and the other forms of Capitalist property are not, if we say that, to Socialism, it is enough with the Social Property of basic companies and the rest can be Capitalists, and if we do not clarify the difference between Means of Production and assets, we are letting bourgeoisie people mix them up. Talk about Property and not precise which one is each one, is a trap.

If the common forms of economy are not integrated to make a social and national network, if they stay isolated, then, we are creating an economic base to confuse spirituality and weakening the Revolutionary cause.

So, we form an opposite group to Socialism, we strengthen the dominant group, the one of the selfish relation with economy and culture. Then, we would not hit hard the Capitalist system, it would be impossible to establish the Socialist group.

We conclude that Capitalist property of means of production is always counter-revolutionary. And the success of this Revolution is closely related to the vividness face its battle.

That is why is very important to build forms of Social Property of Means of Production, besides disseminate their needs during our leader’s statements and publicity.

MIDDLE CLASS: GUIDE OR BE GUIDED?

The Bolivarian Revolution discusses several issues insistently: the role of the State, property and social classes; everything is very interesting.

We refer to a very crucial one; it is about the role of middle class or lower bourgeoisie in Revolution: Does it guide or it is guided? On the answer depends the course of Revolution. Let’s see.

First thing we have to precise is that ideologies migrate. Which means the ideology of a class can be adopted by another class. Being so, the hegemonic class colonizes the souls from the dominated class; and that is the foundation of domination. That way a minority class can lead the whole society.

The importance in the analysis is the ideology that leads the process, and not the number of the class that leads it. What is important is not the origin of the leader’s class but the ideology that impregnates it. Let’s recall ortega, a pro-coup who was a workman; and Gustavo Machado, who was a great Revolutionary leader and bourgeois, Engels was a factory owner and Bolivar was a mantuan.

Mix up class with the ideology of that class leads to biggest mistakes.
Then, it cannot be concluded that this Revolution is leaded by the middle class, the lower bourgeoisie, or because some groups of the government belong to that class.
The right and beneficial thing to the Revolutionary advance are to elucidate which ideology guides it and which one has the possibilities to leads us to Revolution. Let’s elucidate!

In Revolution there are two ideologies that dispute its hegemony: the Capitalist ideology and the Socialist ideology; and a whole ideological manifestation enroll in some of those.

The ideology of the lower bourgeoisie is a variation of the Capitalist ideology, which characterizes by been shameless, it always defends Capitalism: sometimes in a clear way, when it is about the Right, and some other times in an oblique way, when acts in Revolution.

It is a pusillanimous ideology that oscillates around the desire to rise to the middle class, which mimics the fear of failure, and descends to the underworld of poverty while trying it. This fearful ideology, acting for Revolution, oscillates around a Revolutionary rhetoric, which denounces the illnesses of Capitalism, and a Capitalistic practice.

Their proposals in every Social field are fragmentary. So, they convert the Common Power, the political organization and economy as a Revolutionary sarcasm.

This middle class ideology cannot lead Revolution!! It just can prepare its burial.
The only capable ideology to do Revolution is the Proletarian ideology. It can embody in some social sectors and direct the process, but any moment, it can find with its own class, the workingman, and make them conscious and put them to the vanguard of Revolution.

Middle class, the bourgeoisie class must integrate to the Revolutionary processes, and adopt the Revolutionary ideology. Everything else is pyrotechnic ideological.

CHRISTIANITY IS SOCIALISM

The history of liberating ideas is the history of the battle to ignore them and divide their partisans. Likewise, we find that Christian ideas had been ignored in essence by the ecclesiastical cupolas and they had been separated from Socialism, which is their natural evolution.

In order to visualize the close connection between Christianity and Socialism, we have to read some interesting paragraphs from documents of the Second Vatican Council.

The Council is the assembly of every Christian bishop in the world; the oldest was called by Saint Peter en Jerusalem in the 50. The Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) called by Pope John XXIII, meant a renewal movement, and an attempt to go back to that energy, to the essence of the original Christianity.

“God destined the earth and all it contains for all people and nations so that all created things would be shared fairly by all humankind under the guidance of justice tempered by charity. No matter how property is structured in different countries, adapted to their lawful institutions according to various and changing circumstances, we must never lose sight of this universal destination of earthly goods. In their use of things people should regard the external goods they lawfully possess as not just their own but common to others as well, in the sense that they can benefit others as well as themselves. Therefore everyone has the right to possess a sufficient amount of the earth's goods for themselves and their family. This has been the opinion of the Fathers and Doctors of the church, who taught that people are bound to come to the aid of the poor and to do so not merely out of their superfluous goods. Persons in extreme necessity are entitled to take what they need from the riches of others. Faced with a world today where so many people are suffering from want, the council asks individuals and governments to remember the saying of the Fathers: "Feed the people dying of hunger, because if you do not feed them you are killing them," and it urges them according to their ability to share and dispose of their goods to help others, above all by giving them aid which will enable them to help and develop themselves.”

“The right to private ownership is not opposed to the various forms of public ownership. But the transfer of goods from private to public ownership may be undertaken only by competent authority in accordance with the demands and within the limits of the common good, and it must be accompanied by adequate compensation. Furthermore, the state has the duty to prevent people from abusing their private property to the detriment of the common good.”


That is how church of Christ speaks. Its identification with the principles of the Bolivarian Revolution is understand, and it is understood the reason why the bishops of Sanhedrin, who are defenders of merchants, confront it,

CUBA DEFINES

In 1989, a puzzled world assisted to the combatless fall of Socialist field. Immediately, theories thrive to explain to the new world which structured on the rubble of Berlin Wall. The end of history was forecast, absurdly it still survives.



The situation in Venezuela was similar. New interpretations of the new world came out and it made a cataclysm in the Revolutionary theory. Skepticism was spread; to stand up to the counter-revolutionary field was tolerated, the tensions between Revolutionaries and the Status leaders dropped.



Many Revolutionary leaders started to be a part of cabinets from dominating governments. Books about Marx and Lenin were sold to second hand libraries, and they were bought the same price that gift wrap had. It was wrong to talk about the “guerrilla” epoch, it was mentioned disdainfully.



Everything looks defined, the world was reconstructed, the matter was to insert and find a place in that social architecture, which would last for centuries.



The fact that perturbed those drop out ex-revolutionaries was: Cuba was there, remaining and resisting… Why? Why? Any of their neo-theories explained that fact. They were smashed against the strength of Cuban morale.



The explanations rained desperately: “It is there, but it has problems, there is no soap”. “It is there, but they do not have elections”. “It is there, but they do not obey human rights”. Explanations and justifications that melted when near the facts: It was there, helpless, alone in the Capitalist Sea, and it did not fall.



The election was just one: Socialism is viable and it is the future of humanity. Just a Socialist country is able to do the Cuban great deed back then: It is to resist the fall of the Socialist field, and the battering of the most powerful empire that history has even known!!



It preserved hope.



It told us with its example that a better world is possible, that history did not end with Capitalism, that sickness is surmountable. Little by little, humanity turned their eyes to Cuba. Its heroic flame still illuminates the way out from the Capitalist hell.



The position towards Cuba defines Revolutionaries. Something more that materialistic interests or light affinities join us together: Brotherhood combines us to paddle together the same boat, the boat of human redemption, the boat of Socialism.

TO CONQUER ONESELF

The individual is a compendium of the society in which he lives; the social drama of his time is summarized in him. It is impossible to get away of this law. Being so, the individual is the scenery of the classes’ conflict of that time. Likewise, the most important part of the bloody battle of class struggles is inward each individual.





It is inside the prairie of individual souls where the class struggles are decided. In order to Revolutionaries successfully carry out their tasks; they must study this very important point, because there is no Revolution without Revolutionary people, and there are no Revolutionary people without conquering themselves.





Revolutionaries’ behaviors are a reflection of those class struggles which happen inside their heart. There is an opposition between the ideology of dominant classes, the dominant values, costumes, ethic, and the spirituality which was shown since childhood, and with the Revolutionary ideology which is acquired with education and imagination. In other words, the Revolutionary fight is mainly a fight between the childhood which faces up to the spirituality acquired during the adult comprehension.





That battle, between what we were and what we want to be, is reveal while we make decisions. Let’s see.





When society recognizes and makes an individual leader, whatever the level is, the struggle of classes within those chosen, obtain social characteristics. The driver’s decisions affect society, but decisions are determined by the struggles that happen in the individual who becomes a leader. Let’s explain through an example.





Bolivar liberated slaves, and it was a great decision which deeply affected society during his epoch. But, that decision was born because of the fights inside the tormented soul of Simon Bolivar; inwardly the teachings from his childhood, and three hundred years of colonial culture, the acceptation and justification of slavery confronted against the knowledge and awareness that Bolivar acquired during his adult life. In this case, the libertarian ideas obtained during his adult life won over the slave spirituality that was taught during his childhood. That is the reason he is a great Revolutionary. On the other hand, Páez succumbs to the oligarch values, he betrays the ideas acquired during his adult life while he was next to Bolivar, and he turns to the values of the dominant classes that were taught during his childhood.







We can say, then, that to become Revolutionary and make Revolution, it is vital to defeat everyday and with each decision, the domination ideology that we have stacked to us with powerful threads of the childhood unconscious. Revolutionaries must conquer themselves.

LEARNING FROM LIBYA


There is no doubt that the events from Libya reveal the empire once again, it is a monster that defines its interests viciously, it does not excuse for the minimun rebellion. It is necessary to organize a social and political network that is able to face aggression and it can operates in the legal bourgeois.






It is urget that Communal Councils and Municipalties, from the beginning to the national scope, form an organizative network, and abandon isolation and separation. The working class must transcend the struggles, and their organizations have to give a character of structure in order to defend the nation and Revolution. It is important that women, paisans and estudents get organized.






It is time to form a National Patriotic Society that, next to the actual State Organization inhereted from bourgeoisi, that forms the structures able to face the inevitable aggression.






National mass organizations must be represented by that National Patriotic Society, which first objective will be the defense of people, and to lead people to upcoming battles.






The advantage we have in forthcoming battles is the indisputable leadership of Commander Chávez. We have to tune the social organization. Just a unified society could succesfully face the empire’s aggression; on the contrary, a disjointed, uncontrolled society, with no social network to give operativity to their orders, would be an easy prey of the enemy.





To the defense of people, Revolution and Commander Chávez we procede as soon as possible to organize people, we move forward to consolidate the People Power.

OBEDIENCE OF A C.I.A. GENERAL

The Right always announces its coups, like in April’s, the signs were clear. Today again, the environment is full of sings. Let’s see.

The “squalids” do not recognize CNE, besides they already proclaim the triumph of 2012, and take for granted that Revolution will not admit that victory. About that “certainty”, they carry out a political proposal. Their spokesman prepare the environment pro-coup and justify it, they announce the attempted coup. Let’s see.

General Raúl Salazar, the same who was the Ministry of Defense and used to bring about a Gringo’s invasion like Haiti’s, openly declares calling the coup during an interview to newspaper “El Nacional”. The first question asked was:

What is the worst improper obedience? And he answers: “To infringe Constitution”. Then he complements the answer and declares:

“The concept of loyalty to merits is lost. They are more political than Militaries. In principle, a Revolutionary soldier infringes the constitutional article 328.”

Finally they ask him: What would happen in Venezuela if they go from improper obedience to proper disobedience?

He replays: “A new president and a great national unity…”

There it rounds off the objective of the interview: A shameless call to what they call “proper disobedience”. The pro-coup intention is clear; we are missing “how” and “when”.

In the same interview, the General clears up that he does not trust CNE and most of the F.F.A.A. will respect the sovereign decision, which means that “they won or there was fraud.”

In April, it was not very clear the advance of the coup. But if there are some skeptics yet, let’s see what Carlos Blanco writes in his Sunday column:

The title suggests: “In order to transition be possible somewhere else, it is necessary a settlement.”

In his written, Blanco speculates on the “squalid” victory: “Another case is to get annoyed and try to use fraud and force to obstruct its ejection, as Gaddafi and other brothers of the authoritarian force did. Blanco contributes, more cowardly but with the same clarity, some other components to 2012’s coup.

RETURN TO APRIL’S SPIRIT

Now, just when we have gone further than never in our whole history towards territories of human redemption, raise restoration blemish in the horizon.

The empire threatens with his entire military power and manipulates conscious; they are there, close by, the ships of death threaten with the cruelty we know and they are here inside their green bills, buying conciousness, opening breaches, expanding wounds, and taking advantage of weakness.

The Bolivarian Revolution urgently needs to return to April’s spirit, it is necessary that we start the strengthening of the process.

During the times that the empire threatens us and the internal weakness risks us, and imprecision confuses us, it is necessary to light up the mind and play “dots & boxes” in order to move forward. Let’s see.

April left us three major teachings:

First of all, it can not be cheated on the people; they know the real character of the oligarchic mafia. To mafia just took 40 hours to spread all their fascist cruelty.

We were convinced that to face oligarchy, who feeds from anger and disdain, the only possible language used is the strength of a mobilized and conscious town.

People were conscious of the Social Duty, which is the most important feature of Socialism, but appeared some appropriation germs of pro-coup companies to take society. Another column of Socialism is to give the property of means of productions to society.

So, in April appears the seed of Socialism, the great leading role was the incipient Socialism. This is the origin of Chavez’s deposition and later, it becomes the central slogan of this process, Socialism or death.

Third, during those days our Socialist Revolution was born, and as every true Revolutionary leader, it became worldwide.

It is necessary to go back to April’s spirit. We must profound unity round the advance of Socialism, and fight against the attempts to strengthen Capitalism; because what they get is to confuse us and weaken us, we must reject the conciliation attempts and support the leadership of Commander Chávez.

THE APRIL WINDS

The gloomy winds of April do not disappear from the Venezuelan politics, they blow strongly presaging the storm of December 2002, and now are coming back announcing new confrontations.

The oligarch and Capitalists do not accept Revolution; they are trying to stop it with several weapons. Sometimes, they sat with us, hiding the dagger and waiting the propitious moment to the announced betrayal. Most of the time, they show their genetic rejection to changes, they spend the day throwing darts and planning cruelties. They do not condemn assassination and do not recognize the government’s legitimacy, they recruit opportunists. A coup d’état always swirls around their intentions.

Looking at the winds that blow today and comparing them with April winds, we will find clear portents of new adventures that move rapidly. Let’s see.

Just like yesterday, the government does not know that an image of illegality and tyranny is created, leading it to justify the attempted coup.

It is said that Bolivarian Revolution is just like Libya, evoking the same invasion; the relation between the impertinence of these days is established, when the “civilians” are protected with bomb explosions.

Venezuela was bound with drug-trafficking and terrorist cells; there is no one day that the gringo’s spokesperson launches their lies, and draws the image which justifies the assault.

Everyday they whisper to the military men, and try to discredit them, the concept of militia is deformed, the old ghosts get up; they try to find how justify the betrayal, they boldly call to unrecognized the government, threat and praise military men, it is a very refined operation, proper from the foreign intelligence agencies.

What to do?

This is a serious situation, however it is promising; let’s recall that crisis are Revolutionary. The first thing we should settle is the ideological scenery. Let’s see.

History is very clear: Revolutions do not move forward with decision and speed, restoration stopped them. The speed of changes comes from the capacity to fight Reformism and also it comes from the conciliation that inhabits it.

Let’s remind that Mantuans worked internally to put up the fire of the first Republic, they lost it and it was known as the Silly Republic. In the Cartagena Manifesto, Bolivar described precisely, the weakness of that pro-independence attempt, and pointed out the reasons of that fall.

The liberating breakout of January 23rd, 1958, is the origin of this Bolivarian History, it was captured by the reformists from that time, and today they are grouped in opportunist committees and fronts. Fabricio Ojeda was the president of the Patriotic Board who fought the dictatorship, he recognizes, in his resignation letter to the congress, how Reformism castrated Revolutionary possibilities.

The classical authors point out that the first cause of the Paris Commune fall, the first Proletarian Republic, was the doubts to defend against reformists and conciliators.

The Bolivarian Revolution, highly and peacefully committed, is besieged by the coup’s onslaught that hides behind the mentality and the bourgeois legality that restricts them.

To Revolution, its first right and duty is to defend itself! It can not be petrified to assists the construction of its scaffold.

ELECTRICITY PRESAGES THE FUTURE

Electricity went back to be the center of concern of our nation. The problem is very clear: it is not enough the generation of it to cover the demands of society. Face this difficulty there are several answers.

The Capitalists of FEDECAMARAS, like always, take advantage of the crack and try to take advantage of emergencies. Its president declares that the problem tends to get complicated, the blackouts will come. After he scares people out, he asks solutions but not to the conflict but to the tripartite formation to negotiate the workers salaries. They apply the same method of the 4th Republic: they scare and then they ask for money.

Minister Alí Rodriguez Araque expresses the problem intelligently, he said: “if the consumption of energy overcomes the generation of it, we have to make the power cuts”. In this way he places that issue is its just dimension. That is the problem of the world that today is reflected in electricity. Let’s see.

Capitalism needs of an excessive consumption, all its vital energy comes from the market, and this moves with purchasing and selling of all sorts of things, and not because of its utility but its capacity to generate profits.

The excessive consumption is the origin of the outrageous production, and the depredation of human beings and nature. That is the essence of Capitalism. Chavez alerted that so much has come in its growth and development that it threatens to make Earth just another planet Mars.

The only solution to the humanity problem, the way to save it and take it to the course of self-preservation is to harmonize consumption with production limitations that nature imposes. Consumption measurements must be the preservation of living conditions.

Now, this can not be found inside Capitalism, it is impossible that Capitalism resolves the problem it created itself, hence, it is indispensable to build Socialism. That is the challenge of the Bolivarian Revolution.

The issue is very complex; we and humanity are trapped in a dilemma, solve with the logic of Capitalism the obstacles of politics, and stimulate the easy consumption, feeding the capitalist pathology, and not shaking the waters and not taking risks in order to get friendliness. Otherwise, we have to put our faith to the acting mass, we have to call them to sacrifice what builds the chances of living, explain to them the seriousness of this situation, educate them, organize them and together fight for life in order to change the vision of the world and also conquer harmony with nature.

If we choose the path of the jagged weapons, we will be forming a country, humanity, a blind instrument of self-destruction. Only the risky ways to fight Capitalism guarantees a happy life, the good living.

Electricity is just a notice of the serious difficulties that will come, a warning that can not be solving by following the Capitalist path. Cuba is hope! Joy! Japan is presage of extintion, which announces the Capitalist paths.

IS THIS A REVOLUTION?

The answer is without hesitation: this is a Revolution, as well as Fidel said, it is a miracle. Let’s argue.

It is clear that the previous statement is not shared by the dogmatists; they do not see in anyway the stages that handbooks dictate, or the proletarian forces taking the Winter Palace, nor Iskra’s proclamations, they do not see the bearded men stepping down Sierra Maestra, or Simon Bolivar in Carabobo.

In each Revolution, even though it keeps its general characteristics, the concretion of what is Universal is unprecedented. The general laws of Revolution strategically fix the direction, and what gives the plasticity necessary to adapt to the meanders of the concrete road, are the tactical compliments.

It is the job of Revolutionaries to unravel the peculiarities of the process, interpret them and make them theory, and then when well-nourished, design the battle for redemption. Of course that the anarchists do not relieve, they expect liberty comes from heaven, a society of angels, they do not do anything to take the sky by storm, they limit to behold and to be judges of any attempt to establish the new world.

If we look at this Revolution with historian critical eye from the future, we would be surprised. Let’s see.

It shines when everything was lost: it was the end of history, humanity was resigned to submissively follow the laws unrestrained imposed by Capitalism. We were walking thought the sinister hopeless night, where human values give way to profit values above anything. Altruistic ethic was substituted by the selfish ethic; we were sailing in “the gelid Waters of the calculating selfishness”.

In that environment rose Revolution, it said: Stop! And it proclaimed itself anti-imperialist and Socialist. A Miracle!!

The fight to construct and defend a new society began. The attacks from the empire came, and as Che said, it has nose to recognize their enemies. We beat coups and sabotages, we overcame desertions and media attacks.

In these adverse conditions, we manage to step forward, leaded by the tenderness that follows the Revolutionary and the courage of a practice that places us at the beginning of important changes.

This country has a renter economy; thereof the use of that income will give the sing to the process. We gave a vital step when Revolution took PDVSA’s control. After beaten meritocracy, that rent which it used to be taken by gringos now points at the construction of Socialism.

In the story of this Revolution, the control of PDVSA would have a stand out place by Commander Chavez government, that was and that is the economical pillar that led the development of the process.

There is no corner of society where the oil income did not leave its constructer mark of new social relationships, from hospitals to relations with our brother countries; even until the fight against the shortage of food. It is not thinkable this Revolution without the heroic, brave and loyal creation of PDVSA.

THE LAW OF THE INDIES

The Bourgeois State, an instrument of Bourgeois domination built for its own perpetuation; resists in anyway to be beaten. One of the main problems of Revolution is how to do it. The answer is easy, even more if Revolution takes place in peaceful conditions. Experience shows us the ways. Let’s see.

In the peaceful Revolution, the limit between old and new is diaphanous; it is involved with misty habits. It has no impact when taking the power severally which immediately becomes passionate, an epic poetry a lovely feeling of altruism that becomes into law and demarcates the fields with clarity.

The leader of the peaceful Revolution is chief of the old State and simultaneously the one who generates his substitution.

During peaceful conditions, comprehension of the change is more complex, and pioneer’s demands are much sacrificed. There are no heroic events; on the contrary, frequently actions are deaf, misunderstood. The valorization system of behavior gets confused; what it used to be illegal, now acquires the legality that confers the needs of doing and preserving Revolution. What it used to be legal must be condemned by the new rising ethic.

We are in a similar condition to the Revolution of Independence, there was no patriot who pretended apply the “Law of the Indies” to the liberation actions. Now, vanguard does not do military and traditional actions, better yet, the military actions are represented in other ways: the army do social labor, major generals share out food, and officers rescue victims, now the civil become militia. The production is a battle; energy-saving is the offensive against the enemy. Voluntary work is training and military action. The missions are comparable to The Admirable Campaign, with Carabobo.

The old State should give place to new, and it must do so in a peaceful way. It is necessary to protect the forms of the new State that are rising, it is vital to defend the founder pioneers of this new world.

In order to do so, it is indispensable to build a new legality, where the fundamental law is the protection of Revolution, where that be the main legality criterion.

It is urgent that Community Councils and Municipalities are no longer isolated entities endorsers of selfishness; they have to grow inside the social network and support the vision of society and humanity, just this way we could understand and feel the selfless spirit of Revolution.

From this social network, essence of the new State will dislodge the necessity of new institutions and different ways to choose them.

This is the way that practice and theory announce the replacement of the Bourgeois State, which is the way to consolidate the advances. On the contrary, it would lead the pioneers and their work, available to the voracity of a Capitalist State, which protects itself and crushes from inside to outside the growth forms and Revolutionary actions.
