MEDIOCRES’ COWARDICE

A fundamental difference between the mediocre politicians and statesman is that politicians are all ears for the tactical opportunity, but they are as deaf as a post to the great strategic requirements.

Mediocre move carried by the wind of circumstances, they are opportunists, their strategic is to be likable all the time, they scurry difficulties until a “black Friday” arrives.

The statesmen tell the truth to the people, leading him toward deep solutions.

When Churchill takes power of the besieged England by Nazism, he did not hide anything to people, he did not promise any comfort and said: “blood, sweat and tears will be the cost to succeed these difficulties”… he resisted and vanquished. He behaved as a statesman, and paid tribute to strategy, he said the truth, harsh, irritating, but the winning truth.

When Fidel arrived to La Havana, January the 7th, he explains:

“I think this is a decisive moment for our history: tyranny has been overthrow. The joy is huge. However, there is a lot to do. We do not fool ourselves believing that from now on all will be easy; perhaps in the future everything would be harder”.

Recently the English Economy Minister states:

“The British are poorer as a result of the financial crisis, and they will wait a slow period of growth. He urged the country’s politicians to better prepare the public for difficult times. The public opinion must understand “how painful” is going to be the near future.

He pointed out that “the political class as a whole is not preparing the public to understand the massive scope of the problem”.

Braves were the words that called out world leaders to good sense. There are a lot of truths to say to the world, i.e. that the weather imbalance will en the earth’s life, but not in one day but gradually; that predicted end has already started, and we are running out of time to revert it.

If there is a lack of food, and the drinking water disappears, the tendency is to deepen in the shortage, in brief, telling the world the unsustainability of these levels of waste and wrong usage of resources. Through that way, life will disappear very soon, and in little time it will not be possible to maintain civilization as we know it. We have to make changes, or nature will do them for us but cruelly.

The situation is extremely serious, time requires of statesmen capable to confront empire’s attacks, those attacks that twist up in the crisis shortages that it created itself. These are no time for coward petty politicians, which turn with the wind, always with the dagger and the American passport hidden away.

In Venezuela we have our leader, people and workingmen able of changing, here are moral reserves to try to be an example to the world, and here we have the greatness of spirit to be optimistic.

With Chavez, all!
