DEFENSE OF REVOLUTION

We have seen the plight of humanity, we know the cause of the disease, and the discomfort does not need verification. The question is: What should revolutionaries do?, what is their responsibility?

The first duty for the Bolivarian is to preserve Revolution, its existence. Another question arises: how?

A Revolution is preserved by progressing; always being Revolution, never stopping it, the stillness is deadly. But, a Revolution cannot go beyond the ideology that supports it: if the general foundations of its ideology are weak, then Revolution fades into thousands of harmless flashes, like sparklers.

Hence, it is necessary to go deeper to the premises underlying our ideology, to subject them under the scrutiny of sincerity, only adjusting these theoretical pillars we will shield Revolution, and make it invincible.

Without the courage to do this review, it will be impossible to bring to fruition, we will miss in the gymnastics of banal arguments and we will be swept by reality, by the hurricane that is coming. Here are some points that merit discussion.

The Revolution must rescue the love for the acquisition of knowledge, the reflection, the thought, defeating the fables “adecas” and social democrat, that ignorance is a virtue, and that we were born learned by the grace; Revolution must defeat the strange paradox that the sum of ignorance is elevated knowledge.

It is necessary to return to the seriousness of the study, and examine why the efforts to boost the prestige of knowledge has been lost. We anticipate that it will not be possible to study seriously until it is not understand the importance of universal knowledge, and be aware that the so-called "knowledge" is not spontaneous, it requires effort, and systematize it, relating it to the universal knowledge of millennia of accumulation, applying methods, listening carefully to those who have studied with the same respect that we hear the doctor when we are sick, or when we confer the pilot -that is flying the plane- the consent of guide us.

Revolution can only be the daughter of Study, Culture, and the effort to learn, to understand.

Let us remember that the "good living" is impossible to be a purely material matter, a matter of "knife and fork”. No, it is -above all- a spiritual project, hence the importance of knowledge, culture, of that which incorporates the local to the universal, it is the only way that something acquires a human value.

We must study the mechanisms of domination, those that has managed to make the dominated its main support and diffuser of its culture. To discard the theory that postulates that, the people spontaneously will get his releasing, and will found a new world. This approach disarms the people; it condemns it to the bondage of the cocky ignorance.

Instead, the people create its art, and this leads it to the path of redemption. And within that desire, art and people fuse, that is the essence of the Revolution.

There are economic, organizational and ethical assumptions, all must be discussed, and only like this we will understand the problems of today.

THE CHALLENGE OF STORM

Clearly, a social storm of immense proportions is approaching, or better said, we are mired in it. The signs are clear, we are suffering the consequences, and the conclusion is straightforward: capitalism is in a terminal crisis and –necessarily- it drags the world.

The crisis of capitalism is the crisis of humanity, today it is not decided the fate of a system, but the fate of mankind and planetary life. It is the duty of Revolutionaries to fight for the survival of humanity, which is the main challenge. At this historical stage, crisis, storm and capitalism are synonymous: they define a situation that endangers life itself.

To the Bolivarian Revolution, it is essential to understand the agony manifestations of capitalism, only this way we can assume our historical role, the huge but beautiful responsibility of us. Let’s see.

The condition of capitalism can be approached from different angles: financial, political, demographic, production, ecological impact, and so on. By studying the phenomenon of crisis, we will realize that all its facets are originated in the way as the capitalism’s man is perceived and the economic relations that impose this vision. Let us consider the manifestations of global capitalism and let us try to determine its development.

The capitalist economy is crumbling, the U.S. debt is a sign of structural problems of that system, so does Europe, Greece is pathognomonic, in China reality dilutes the miracle, and difficulties already overlook reminding us that there is no capitalism without crisis.

The U.S. deserves our special attention; there are coming elections and the crisis burden the obama’s candidature and polls. It is logic to think that they will use disgrace to rise them up, they already got it with the "death of Bin Laden", but the increase was ephemeral, the numbers fell again dragged by the economy. Hence, Chavez may be a good target in the vicinity of their elections.

The ecological disaster shows its consequences, in the production of food are predicted severe shortages, we are already suffering from rising of prices.

The migrations of hungry, despite of all the efforts to hide them already play hard the northern gates and create demographic imbalances.

We could conclude that civilization -as we know it- will disappear. In the next few years everything will change, the transformation is already happening in front of a blind humanity. The survival of the species depends on that change, and this would be an improvement of capitalist human relations, otherwise it will be extinction.

However, in the short term the crisis of capitalism will have an impact on continental and global politics. First, the political choices will be radicalized, there will not be room for third ways; for the capitalism with a human face, the dilemma is -as ever- Socialism or Barbarism, Socialism or Fascism. Here in the Continent, is the duty of alerting the Bolivarian people, to be an example of how to deal with difficulties, it is necessary to deepen the Revolution, which is the only way to defeat the storm.

THE FACTOR FIDEL

Revolutions, revolutionaries, and revolutionary people should be inspired by the Factor Fidel; otherwise it is very difficult to complete successfully their task. Let us explain.

Every Revolution involves great sacrifices; it is not possible to think of profound changes without facing adversity.

Roads with no obstacles are typical of fairy tales and not from the reality of the social struggle. It is not unreasonable to say that the prepared peoples for misery are those that have the right to travel paths of happiness. We can say that the revolutionary success of a people is directly related to the size of the difficulties that can support without leaving its dreams.

The lifetime of great revolutionaries, the history of the great revolutions is a chair; it is an example of performance against misfortune. Someone called Bolivar the man of adversities; and what better example of “El Paso de Los Andes” to illustrate the achievements of a people when gets steep beyond its own strengths, overcoming mountains in its fight against fatality.

Recent history provides us an extraordinary example of this revolutionary behaviour: Fidel, heir of the best traditions of the great revolutionaries of the continent and the world. In 1953, he attacks the Moncada Barracks, and the dictatorship massacred the boys that participated in this heroic action, he is captured, so he converted the adversity of imprisonment in a school of thought, it is what he called the fertile prison. He keeps in his revolutionary zeal and goes to Mexico -not a comfortable exile but to prepare the Revolution. He returns to the Granma, and soon, in the battle of “Alegría de Pío” looses the majority of his army of revolutionaries, he is unarmed, and in these conditions of extreme difficulty, he launches its main slogan: We shall defeat! (Venceremos). Then Revolution triumphed, and the history is filled with Fidel’s tenacity.

But when the Soviet Union fell, and the ninety miles island of the empire is helpless -as a straw within the storm of an adverse world- when Fidel grows with perseverance and save Cuba, and with it the socialist hope of humanity.

Reviewing Fidel’s life is an encounter with the conduct of a man who thrives on the difficulties, fights them, overcomes them and builds the possibility of redemption of his people.

The revolutionaries of the world must imbue with the factor Fidel:

When it seems that everything is lost, let’s move on.

Let’s not faint face difficulties, despite the abyss, let’s move forward.

The duty of revolutionaries is to make Revolution!!

FROM THE EXCITEMENT OF THE RETURN

We wrote this “Grano” from the emotion. This is the first element of the new scene. It is from passion that the great works of the people are built. That love, that passion for Bolivar, was the hurricane that made independence possible. That warmth that only awakens the great deeds and the man, who embody them, appear again with the return of Chavez.

The return of Chavez changes the political scenery that the right tried to establish: their plans for restoration, for now, get frustrated. Revolution and Chavez’s leadership are rooted even more in the feelings of the humble people, this is very important, they to create great conditions for the essential leap for the definitive consolidation.

In the middle of euphoria, a necessary question arises so triumph does not fade:

What to do?

We must not fall into triumphalism, in the middle of euphoria, the side that reflects the most, the field that plans its future; that would be the victorious in the long run. We should not forget that the empire does not sleep in its voracity.

We must -and this is essential and fundamental- sharpen the theory; and never forget that a Revolution cannot go beyond theory, the ideology that sustains it. Theory and ideology are the source of every triumph and every defeat.

The ideologies that distract –that have harmed so much to the revolutionary march- have already demonstrated its failure: it is not possible to integrate society with them and give them the strategic consistency to feelings.

It is necessary to consolidate a social and political organization that supports the socialist construction that forms a national network which starts in the finest capillaries and ends in the upper levels of government, the leader.

Thus, we are entering a phase of reorganization in all fields. We are very happy, and there are reasons, Chavez is demonstrating a great courage, of profound reflections on his "Fruitful rest.”

DON’T YOU DARE MESS WITH CHAVEZ

The worst that can happen is to let us cover with the electoral logic: this has a main goal to stun the public and make Revolution to believe in the good intentions of the empire and its local servants, to think that laws and the rules of the game will be respected by our enemies.

Believing in the good intentions of the empire –already- indicates a cajoling, when history shows otherwise. The empire has no code than its benefit.

Let’s remember Allende, capitalism went over all laws and all behaviors to kill it. Or let us consider the brutal hunt that they are doing to Gaddafi, with the consent of all the capitalist countries, from Russia to the gringos. Do not forget how Zelaya’s departure was: he was taken by the Empire in a brutal manner, and then forgotten by the bourgeois elections. Mel is a good example of how capitalist go through the military and political with no bad time. In Honduras, as in Chile, the war moved between cruel and peaceful in an efficacious way for the empire.

Let’s memorize our April and December. Let's review the military-political doctrines of bush and obama, and refresh their actions today.

The conclusion of right mind cannot be different: the empire does not respect any contrary law to its interests. It is necessary to be prepared to defend the sovereignty; today’s dilemma is slavery or Socialism.

The question that emerges is: how is the Revolution face this landscape? Let's see.

If we take the health incident of Chavez as a circumstance that put us to the test, we can get conclusions, we can see the mistakes and strengths, and we can correct and reinforce our defenses.

First we detected was the love that the humble have towards Commander Chavez, the concern is unanimous. Internationally, the support is important, the twitter exploded of solidarity. Everything indicates that there is support for a while.

It is time to close ranks against the empire’s onslaught and its local lackeys, still incipient, but it can climb, they pretend to take advantage of any blink to build attacks against the country, Revolution and Chavez. It is necessary to grind the management, sharpening the connection with the mass, digging spiritual trenches.

The only way to stop the empire’s intentions is felling a loving grouped society around its leader, organized, conscious, with a Party to lead it, and alert face any mishap, ready to give everything to build its future.

If we neglect the defense, if we give signs of weaknesses, if we lower our guard, then the evil enemy of the people will come over.

We must warn the right and the empire to not get excited, and to misread reality, if they dare and get creative and look for ways to take advantage of the occasion, the response of the people, of Revolution will be ruthless: capitalism will be destroyed entirely. We will deepen it.

SELFISHNESS

Selfishness is paradoxical; nature conspires against the achievement of its objectives. If we consider that the selfish pursues his personal welfare, we will find that selfishness is the worst way to find it. Let's see.

If every member of society finds his benefit in the most selfish possible way, the sum of these egos will be the progress of society, the welfare". That is the sentence of the fathers of capitalism.

The result was another: the fragmentation of society, where some appropriate the wealth and the work that belongs to others, and on such progress, it was the opulence of a very few and the poverty of many, the result is spiritual poverty for all and the impossibility to reach happiness.
What happened? Where was the error? Why humanity entered this alley that has fatal consequences?

The first fact is that happiness, the good living, human’s well-being, and it is necessarily a collective search. This nourishes its condition natural being, of natural member of the biosphere, of social animal. Let's see.

Planetary life survives thanks to the harmony of all its components, is what is called ecological balance, in short, it is based on the maxim: "the fate of all depends on the fate of each of its components, and luck of each one of its components depends on luck of all”.

It means that every animal, every plant has an important role in the miracle of life, its lack is a blow to life, it makes an imbalance, it affects all. It is not possible to affect an element of the biosphere without harming the rest.

It is deduced that in a society the welfare cannot be an individual task, it cannot have a good life surrounded by misery, the discomfort of individuals –necessarily- reverts above the whole society. Happiness is a social phenomenon, and to come true needs a balanced and harmonic society, a life in balance.

The pursuit of happiness in the selfish society of capitalism is a vain effort, it is to pursue the pot of gold at the base of the rainbow, and it is like searching only the happiness of a part of the body and leaves the rest.

We conclude that the only way to find the personal welfare, the good living, is fighting for the welfare of all, for the whole society, in other words, for Socialism.

This truth is known by men of good will since always, and Christ already -in his wisdom- left us the path to love one another, that is, to fight against selfishness, the only way to get what we now call the good living.

Socialism -which is the integration of society in the pursuit of their material and spiritual goals- is the only way to overcome selfishness as a solution to the challenges of existence, it is the only way to achieve happiness.

QUIROZ SHOWS THE COUP’S ATTEMPT

Chavez's disease moves the political environment, some approach to the barrier with the pole in their hand, some others take the sea in search of other ships, the most and the best, play closely with Revolution and Chavez. The movements are visible. Let's see.

Leopoldo lópez, during a forum of the 50th’s anniversary of CENDES, expounded his government project: a lot of demagoguery, loose intentions, and a proposal that includes to raise the oil production up to 6 million barrels, which means to fracture the OPEC. The rest is empty electoral talk. So far, anything to write about, we already know his plans for delivering the country to the big multinationals.

The important thing is that in the forum participated Rodrigo Cabezas, a member of the PSUV leadership and president of the Latin American Parliament. Let's see what the news said: "Minutes after PSUV’s leader, Rodrigo Cabezas -during the round of questions and answers- expressed his consensus regarding the items proposed by lópez, without going into details."

Two possibilities: the news are true, indicating an unacceptable approach to the enemy, and more right now. Second, it is a manipulation of the oligarch-bourgeois press, then it must be rapidly disproved because it confuses the mass, it clouds the direction and theory.

There is a clear intention of the opposition to create a rapprochement, real or fictional, that harms us.

Another motion carried by the wind of Chavez’s disease are the statements of alejandro uzcátegui, and this is what the story tells: "The president of “Empresarios de Venezuela” (Empreven), Alejandro Uzcategui, said that his organization would propose the possibility of a meeting with executives of fedecamaras ...

He said that recently discussed that possibility with a qualified spokesman for the federation. The goal is the same, which is the economic development and giveparticipation to the private sector".

This utter opportunist, at the first little scare, forgets about Socialism, and now his goal is the same as fedecamara’s.

The waters move, the pieces take their place naturally, fiction ends and the masks fall.

From another burrow, the transnational agent quiroz corradi overlooks offering his oil plan. He tries to separate the State from the people. He proposes to privatize the oil, and reduce PDVSA to a minimum, and a "strange coincidence", as leopold, he wants to increase production and break OPEC.

Let’s remember that political times accelerate and intensify, we have to find the pro-coup addresse of his proposal.

This is the center of the oligarchy’s plans, leopold, quiroz and their followers: they obey the requirements of the empire, they deliver oil to the multinationals. Thus, they will condemn the country to the material and spiritual poverty. This plan -to seize the oil- have to impose it, it is a imperial requirement, they will try a coup attempt, they have lost the election. It would be naive to prove their commitment to democracy.
