It is there, in the cold of wasteland, where man -as Christ- finds with his demons, but also with his God. From these episodes of inner experience, one comes out stronger.
The limits of life make men philosophers, Chavez was a philosopher, was a child and father, he understood leader of peoples, which is more than Commander and President. He was known human and he was anointed by history. The disease is a disgrace, but the pillow of the sick is a University of life.
From his bed, he has known more his country; he meditates and thinks to himself, to his entourage, and also to the hypocritical and cruel opposition and that takes advantage of his illness as an electoral commodity, and does some infamous calculations of the deathly accounting. He feels the love of the humble who loves without measure and calculation.
He feels the strengh of his party, and also the weakness of pusillanimous dialogists, of precipitated throwing bridges to the most ominous of the opposition. From there, convalescent, he could measure the cruelty of renegades who show more anger and less restrained than the old enemies.
Chavez, our Chávez, he could philosophize, he could see from his rest the image of all, the general.The strategy took the place of the daily feverish activity, it reinforced its vision of statesman. From the difficult battle, he took strength to grow, understand us and better understood himself.
So, the coming Chavez will be –necessarily- better, he went through an education that consecrates him.
The opposition, following gringos’ instruction, wants to show him weaker because they are afraid of him, now more than ever, they are scared of the power of the strengthened Chávez, proved in difficulties, more aware of life -because overcoming a disease, illuminated him, damages the body but it raises the soul of the greats.
The humble people should prepare for the extraordinary next step, Chávez is coming back to move forward, to change what needs to be change, to deepen and strengthen his what he achieved during difficult times.
The idea of the ‘Compromised with Chavez Committés’ should be supported. We are optimistic. To the unfortunate illness, Chavez managed to turn into a fortress.
The union with Cuba showed that it is more than the sign of an agreement, or trade or formal agreement, it showed that we are joined through the soul. We can say, paraphrasing Martí, "Homeland is Revolution." We are just one nation.
Thus, the joint Cuba-Venezuela, the solidarity between the two countries is to support a common Socialist Revolution, which is a continuation of Bolivar’s and Marti’s works. Cuba and Venezuela are united by the socialist feeling.
